The Classic 35 is called this way, because it's a real classic! This is the original size that fishermen used back in the 1920's. The old picture you see on the left, it was taken in 1947 in the small fishing village of Skägganäs, located on the east coast of Sweden.
This bin is made of galvanized steel. Galvinization is a process used to prevent corrosion of the steel by adding a physical barrier of zinc to the surface. Galvanized steel has been effectively used for more than 150 years and the wire will, over time, obtain a beautiful matte patina.
