Organic Cotton dresses, fresh from CPH

Last Summer we saw the lovely dresses by Tricotage in their little shop in Copenhagen...and fell in love! Such simple elegance, made of honest materials like organic cotton. And the prints are really pretty. Their signature print for this season (Spring/Summer '16) is the dot print and the awesome feather print. Expressive yet uncomplicated. It just makes these dresses even more wonderful to wear. You can dress 'm up with tights or skinny jeans and with some great heels or just wear it comfortable with sneakers or slippers. Whatever the occasion, wear it with a smile!

All dresses are made in a small factory in Lithuania. And we can't wait for the Winter collection...some soft woolen tops and cardigans...and of course more lovely dresses!

Eco-friendly stockings from Sweden: Swedish Stockings!

The beautiful Nadja and Linn from Sweden are on a mission! Eco friendly stockings, why not! Made of recycled yarn, but Nadja and Linn want to take it a step further...looking at the production, the dyeing and energy use of the factory. And the stockings are super comfortable, durable and in beautiful deep colors and patterns!

Their story...:

"Each year, two billion pairs of tights are produced, worn once and then discarded, helping to make the textile industry the second most polluting industry in the world. Landfills everywhere are full of poorly made and cheap non-biodegradable textiles – and it’s getting worse. Nylon yarn, which is currently used to produce most modern pantyhose, is created from an environmentally harmful petroleum-based manufacturing process that leads to damaging carbon emissions and not only are they bad for the planet, they don’t last. These harmful practices in the fashion industry are all too common.

We believe the world needs more innovative and environmentally conscious products to lead the way, and so Swedish Stockings was launched. A forerunner in sustainably produced nylon stockings, Swedish Stockings produce beautiful pantyhose from recycled yarn. Our factories engage in sustainable practises including the use of environmentally friendly dyes, post-dyeing water treatment and the use of solar power for much of the energy needed in the manufacturing process.

We are proud to combine sustainability, quality and great design and hope our customers will feel the same pride in wearing them."
